Aloha guys~
Well it's time for a new drawing of Koeda in my "water related drawings" of her. This drawing is the next part after "paint your world" Koeda already painted her world of her own thoughts...But now she is caged because other people try to change her, to be a part of a community...She tried to escape, so she build a cage of glass (bubble) to protect herself.
Sadly this is not working people keep trying & so her glass is going to break, while she is in a classroom fluted in water seeing the white horizon where she can live her dreams.
Well when I have drawn this I had many thoughts about, how often people try to not being themselves, just to be a part in a community, shorten: "being accepted"
We try to do the things we like, but people often say: "What you like this stuff?!" Stop with it...
Anyway we close our eyes, just to be someone else, loosing our creativity, being not able to see the whole world.

Very simple portrayal but very effective. I really love the symbolism of the glass bubble and the visual idea of the water reminds me of sinking-- and the white horizon is a very nice choice of imagery as well! As always, your character is beautiful, and your method of coloring is always so swift and dreamy; it's really pretty
